These strange beings seem as much a tear in reality as a creature. Their true nature is known only to Council magi, if at all, and has long been the subject of speculation. One of the few things which is certain is that the Council have devised some method of binding these spirits as servants. Their efficiency and obedience make them popular minions for many a wizard.

Because of their insubstantial nature, wisps are extremely resistant to physical attacks. However, they are also extremely vulnerable to fire and arcane magic.
