This unit is from the Era of Chaos. Its coding and art were done by the various people who created the Era of Chaos.

The great elvish warriors of times past are not completely gone. They roam around the forests which formerly served as their home, and wander about their memories of glorious battles and wars, seeking to perform the feats of arms they did in the past, and death is no obstacle for their purposes.

Special Notes: Spirits have very unusual resistances to damage, and move quite slowly over open water. During battle, this unit can drain life from victims to renew its own health. This unit’s arcane attack deals tremendous damage to magical creatures, and even some to mundane creatures. The terror skill of this unit scares enemy units next to it so they deal less damage in combat, though this only applies to units of lower or equal level. This unit will regenerate 5 HP per turn in forest or mushroom grove terrains.
