Spike Pit

The greater and more dangerous specialization of the antlion is the 'Spike pit'. Having accumulated sufficient biomass, Spike-pit class organisms have developed heavier weaponry compared to the simple bite. A stream of plasma, from incorporated scavenged ordinance serves as a particularly-effective anti-vehicle attack. However, as masters of manipulating their body to match their environment, they are no more visible than their previous class designation. Often, they can only be spotted by units adjacent to, or on top of, the spike pit. And by that point, it is already too late.
UTILITY: Territory Denial, Anti-vehicle
STRONG AGAINST: Vehicle, humanoid melee fighters
WEAK AGAINST: Heavy Ranged units, Fire, Plasma
