<span></span>Thanat Shooters are formidable ranged combatants despite their quite basic weapons. Many of them want to be dangerous in melee as well but carrying heavy blades diverts some of their arcane force to supply extra carrying capacity - force that would be applied to empower their arrows instead. Longer composite bows made of many smaller bones are employed to compensate for this loss. Larger bow requires more time and effort for its bowstring to be pulled and delivers more powerful blows. These gratuituously sized weapons incite their surviving targets to choose affectionate names for their wielders.

Note: this unit is ''unliving'' (has fixed trait named ''unliving'') - it cannot be poisoned, when it is recalled its hitpoints are set to 20 and it can heal from ''healing places'' only when also eligible for rest-healing or under effect of ''siccates'' ability of allied unit
