Overseeing and guarding public places and events is respectful yet not very rewarding duty. Considerable patience is required to stay alert through hours of monotonous surveillance. Peasants tend to learn a habit of patience from their everyday lives, working the land and waiting for their crops to grow and ripen. Combined with their skills with rakes and other farming tools being easily adoptable for wielding a spear, it makes them obvious candidates for Watcher's jobs. Their equipment is basic yet functional: spears, round shields, open helmets and simple armor consisting of sturdy fabric clothes paddad with metal plates.
