Natural longevity combined with intelligence and near-perfect memory makes Fey very good at jack-of-all-trades approach to learning. After some time seemingly unrelated skills start to feed into each other. After great many years of training seemingly unrelated skills become intertwined and blended in a perfect harmony essentially turning the practicer into a master-of-all-trades. This kind of achievement in military matters requires aspiring learner to survive great many combats while actively participating in mortally dangerous events. Preservation of one's life is achieved with defensive fencing, adept archery, some help from the forces of nature, great deal of help from trusty allies and sometimes even favors of former enemies whose lives were magnanimously spared or even saved in the past. Arcane healing skills come surprisingly helpful for gaining trust and favors alike, even though they cannot contribute directly to one's own survival and martial prowess.
