Lamia Viper Legend

Of those Lamias who grow no apendages and preserve their purely serpentine shape... little is known outside their own society. They are easily confused for non-sentient animals - a perilous oversight made easier by Lamia's less talkative attitude to outsiders. Those who come too close may fall victim to signature weapon of many wild animals - venomous bite. Seldom fatal in and of itself, it drains victim's health and slowly turns it into an easy prey for any predator.
