Naiad societies train their warriors in both matrial and mystical arts making them an undisputed champions of their aquatic homeland. Their resilience and skill with their iconic tridents make them mighty foes to try to combat in the seas, but they lose almost all their mobility if forced to fight on land. Neither physical prowess nor arcane powers are able to overcome this natural limitation so alliances with creatures more suited for dry land are invaluable. As a result the peace of their realm is kept by persuasion as much as by force.
