This power of natural growth also allows them to heal wounds and cure poisons on themselves and their allies. That same power makes nymphs fabulously beautiful. Many menstrels muse about breathtaking and heart-stopping power of this beauty. Few of them know that this power has arcane sources and affects those who have neither breath nor heart just as well as those who live and love. Also forests and waters in which they thrive can become quickened by a word of command, to lash out at those who threaten their peace.
