While physically weak, the shadowspawn survives by cunning, cruelty and magic. They are known to be sadistic and utterly without mercy. They delight in torturing lesser demons and in bringing about the downfall of physically powerful pit-spawn who may not be as intelligent.

Special Notes (1.14-style, please update to the new list format to avoid duplicates):This unit has magical attacks, which always have a high chance of hitting an opponent.This unit’s arcane attack deals tremendous damage to magical creatures, and even some to mundane creatures.During battle, this unit can drain life from victims to renew its own health.This unit can hide in villages (with the exception of water villages), and remain undetected by its enemies, except by those standing next to it. This unit is non-corporeal and is immune to poison, drain, and plague. Most non-corporeal units are able to fly, even across terrain that is not normally accessible.
