Darguls are always ready to fight with their bare claws yet many of them prefer crafted weapons when available. Weapons made by people of other races are acceptable but seldom sized to fit Dargul body and sometimes hard to obtain. Carriers of the inner flame are in unique position to be their own furnaces - if only they learn to use it with sufficient stability and control. Control does not come easily for most Darguls and requires long-term practice. But crafting affords relative immobility providing an easier way to becoming one's own forge. Usually first tool made by Dargul smith is for personal use. Most common choice for first creation is so-called squama blade - a weapon that blends qualities of crafted cutting edge and naturally grown bestial claw. Breast plates are often crated shortly after.
