The Savage caste is exactaly what the name suggests. Only the most powerful and succesful Wild Drakes can become Drake Savages. They abandon their battle claws and dedicate all their training into their massive, muscular jaws. The bite of a Drake Savage can tear an armored human in two. That is more than enough to offset the Savage's low attack speed. When a drake enters the Savage caste, its scales become colored with a strong, vivid green, for unknown reasons.
