Finned tail provides very limited mobility virtually everywhere except waters. Hands and larynx allow for much greater ability to affect one's surroundings, practice crafts and arts, delve into mysteries of the arcane, communicate with other races. It also enables organized agriculture. Being aquatic creatures, Naiads practice it in and around lakes, rivers and seas. Richest and most fertile grounds are where water and land meet. During high tide Naiads forage around the shores where they may be spotted by other races and become subjects of tales and legends.

Note: this unit is ''commoner'' - it has most qualities of level 1 unit except after combat encounter with it opponent gets experience only if it will not result in advancement and gets only 4 experience points for killing this unit
