Lamia Ophidian

Born in worm-like shape, Lamias may eventually gain hands, wings and other appendages... Or gain extra body length and nothing else. Lack of extra bodyparts protects from some kinds of attacks - one cannot be hit where one's body is absent. This lack is so obvious that almost anybody can change tactics to hit what's still there. It is equally obvious for owners of serpentine bodies. They also adjust their tactics using flexibility to strike around opponent's defenses and where it hurts the most.
