Lamia Ayssid

Winged flight requires muscle to flap the wings and produce lift. Muscle is heavy so having more muscle requires more lift to sustain the flight. So muscle can grow only so far until aerial mobility will suffer. Ayssids push it as far as they can without losing speed. Extra muscle provides toughness and durability but reduces agility adding some complications when it comes to using their strength for offense.
