Forest Guardian

Nature spirits created by angry elven casters are slain souls forced to live a second life as a plant or small forest creature, are typically small and weak. As they grow, the punished soul trapped within them becomes slowly weaker willed; more enslaved to the will of the forest. Eventually their willpower dies completely, allowing the plant or animal to completely absorb the power of their soul, annihilating it and creating a more dangerous creature. These Forest Guardians are feared by any foolish or desperate enough to cross into a haunted forest.

Special Notes: Foes who lose their life to this unit's 'forest haunt' weapon will be reborn as a small plant or forest creature, unless they are undead or in a village.
