Hasmonee [1] Segen mishne

In the ivrim defense forces, a Hasmonee Samal (sergeant) is a non-commissioned officers rank. They are intensively trained and serve constant active field-duty. He is a swift soldier, armed with improved leather armour, a hardened bronze sword and a precision sling. He is a defender of the line, fighting better with a hasmonee brother to his side. The best can also qualify as higher full-commissioned officers. They are very versatile fighters, quick & tough. As a special nobility of all ivrim officers he would shout 'after me!' when leading his men into battle, not hiding in the back ordering the men to fight in the front lines. He is part of the backbone of one of the best armies in wesnoth.

Special Notes: The leadership of this unit enables adjacent units of the same side to deal more damage in combat, though this only applies to units of lower level.
