Why do men study the powers of plants ? To heal, to cure and to protect most will say. Those who declare they study plants and mushrooms for the only sake of curiosity and amusement are usually considered to be mad. Some Carminers decided they preferred the second path. Instead of studying the abilities of wine, mixed with forest herbs and marygold grass, they decided to learn the secrets of poisonous twigs, flowers that freeze the blood and toxic lichen. Those plants are more effective by night explaining the fact these herbalists prefer to brew at that time of the day.

Despised by the rest of Carmin, those who are sometimes dubbed Grey Doctors harness frightening powers and one can't be sure who will be the next victim of their potions.
