Crime Duchess

Shortly after the Icewind fell on Wesnoth the whole kingdom started to crumble. Nobles revolted, farmers regrouped and formed their own regimes, the royal family was murdered and the cities became the scenery to many fights. Nowadays, the ruins of Weldyn, Tath and Dan Tonk are the home of rival criminal gangs who built themselves on the remains of the older civilization. They engage in fights that have no end, steal artefacts and precious objects, murder for money and pillage the surrounding lands.

Ruling over one of those gangs is a hard task that requires bravery, strength and malice. Some women have tied many alliances and killed many foes and recieve therefore the title of crime duchess. Well protected those gang leaders organize the gang and make sure not to be crushed by their rivals, nor their own companions...

Special Notes: The leadership of this unit enables adjacent units of the same side to deal more damage in combat, though this only applies to units of lower level. This unit’s skill at skirmishing allows it to ignore enemies’ zones of control and thus move unhindered around them.
