The riders of the Bright Spears have lost their armour and mounts, but they are still trained soldiers of Wesnoth. After their camp was overrun, they took to the hills and learned the ways of the mountains even better than the orcs.

Special Notes: In woodlands, this unit’s ambush skill renders it invisible to enemies unless it is immediately adjacent or has revealed itself by attacking. This unit can hide in villages (with the exception of water villages), and remain undetected by its enemies, except by those standing next to it.
