Amazon

The term 'Amazon' is given to fierce women fighters by Wesnoth inhabitants that are thought to exist somewhere on the fringe of the known world — in the same sense one might point to a far point on a map claiming 'here be dragons'. However, after a chance encounter and some initial disbelief the term has passed on to the graceful female warriors themselves. Amazons usually take great delight upon knowing they are associated with myth and legend in a far away place.

Special Notes:This unit is capable of distracting opponents, allowing allied units to trespass their Zones of Control and move unhindered around them.
