Freedmen occasionally join Qesican forces as auxiliaries, hoping to supplement Qesican forces and earn respect through skill in battle. Doing so grants them the appreciation of Qesican citizens, despite having failed the Solista. Advanced Freedmen become constables, assisting and arresting any criminals they find.
