Spike Hawk

(image)

It is unclear how some dragonflies acquire thicker abdomens which able them to shoot spikes at great speed at their foes. The mastery of this skill requires a more balanced flying technique. This specific flight renders the typical harassment technique unachievable. Spike Birds only land a few powerful bites on their victims, and generally prefer to use their spikes from afar. By reducing their use of energy during fights, those dragonflies are able to keep some stamina after the kill, which ables them to advance even further or retreat, given the situation.

The art of shooting spikes reaches its summit with the largest, strongest and quickest dragongly creatures. The title Spike Hawk is one given by those who have encountered them on the battlefield and have stood powerless against their skills.
