Given an adequate supply of food, some rats can grow to truly impressive sizes. Those new rats have complety adepted to live near humans allowing them to hide in the shadows, avoiding the eyes of man. Therefore they are able to attack their unaware prey from behind. These rats can even kill an unaware amoured human that underestimates its speed and its ability to strike from behind.
