It is quite easy to use one of the very numerous kinds of poison to make one's arrows more dangerous to the enemy, but what is more difficult is to do it while being sure not to hurt oneself. That is why only some of the most talented bowmen choose to do so, and as one is never too sure, they tend to protect their skin very well, giving them a strange aspect on the battlefield.
