During daytime, lunar bugs rest on trees, where their green limbs render them invisible to the careless observer. But when the Lunar Ripper goes hunting at night, all animals below the size of a horse are in danger. Even humans cannot resist a nighttime assault against this predator, unless shimmering moonlight on his green chitine armor gives him away. Thus, when a fortunate individual survives to tell the tale of this insect, it unvariably features a monstrous arthropod that hunts under full moon only, giving his kind the name of lunar bugs.

Special Notes: In woodlands, this unit’s ambush skill renders it invisible to enemies unless it is immediately adjacent or has revealed itself by attacking. This unit’s skill at skirmishing allows it to ignore enemies’ zones of control and thus move unhindered around them. During battle, this unit can drain life from victims to renew its own health. Using a charging attack doubles both damage dealt and received; this does not affect defensive retaliation. This unit’s marksmanship gives it a high chance of hitting targeted enemies, but only on the attack.
