Spearmen who are extremely brave and skilled become Legendmakers. Legendmaker spent years becoming what they are and deserve some rest and relaxation. So, the Elders put them in charge of telling the fireside stories to the kids. Most of the time the legends they tell are about themselves, hence the name Legendmakers. None of this means that they stop fighting, on the contrary, few want to face a Legendmaker in battle.
