Militiaman

Back when the Federalists were but a simple rebellion, provincial militias were the only fighting force they had. Militiamen are but simple civilians who happen to pick up a musket instead of hide when their home turf is threatened. Their cheapness and light travel make them favorable recruits in small wars. However their lack of training, discipline, equipment, and will to fight far from home start to become glaring disadvantages in a prolonged campaign against a proffessional army.
