Maven do not normally fight in the military. The administration of courts and the preservation of legal texts and legal libraries are their tasks. Since they like to study, they are very good at hiding in their studies so as not to be disturbed for a minute.
However, they profess a defensive Qéshêth combat system in which fire, cold and the arcane become the same cosmological reality.
