Guard

The guard is part of the infantry reserve of the guardian corps of the halfelven defense forces. Many of them are young fathers, raising and teaching the future generation. They naturally stick to combat training at home rather than in a military camp.
In times of need, they can be drafted or simply step in to defend their local communities.
They are trained to repel the nemesis of dark magic. However, in general they are good at countering units that have a natural connection to magic, like dwarves, orcs, elf, the undead. Their arcane-metal mithril-tipped spears act as raw anti-magic that is strong against every magical creature.
