Halberdiers are the elite of the common soldiery. Their halberds, though requiring considerable strength and training to use, are far more versatile than pikes or spears, having axe-like blades with which unwitting enemies may be sliced apart.

Special Notes: The length of this unit’s weapon allows it to strike first in melee, even in defense. This unit works well with other units who can move in formation. When adjacent to such units, this unit will take reduced damage from physical attacks.
