An experienced bowcat learns to notice weaknesses of both his prey as well as his fighting art and corrects it accordingly. Their traditional technique allows them longer time to aim, but aiming too long also deconcentrates from the terget reducing effectivity instead. Another thing is that the bows arc can fit more than one arrow, thus allowing to prepare to don the next one faster, and shortening the targeting time gives a fraction of a second more to fire the additional shot.
