Raised from the serf and citizen classes, Conscripts are poorly equipped and just beginning their training as soldiers. If they survive their service in the military, however, they are rewarded with the right to vote, full citizenship, and status within their home city. It is a means of advancement for many, and a means of maintaining the family's status for the rest, for a dwarf to join the service. They make up the majority of the League's peacetime military.
