巨大アリの卵（Giant Ant Egg）

巨大アリは様々な環境に生息していますし、生み出された卵もまた、洞窟や隠れ家環境のあちこちで確認できます。卵の殆どは、1つのコロニーの女王アリが生み出したものですが、働きアリたちによって、育てるために適切な場所へと運ばれていきます。

The Giant Ant Eggs have a tough, leathery shell that takes a dedicated effort to break through. While this shell makes it difficult to know the status of the inhabitant from the outside, it does not obscure the outside world from the rapidly developing ant larva within. Any predator or foe who approaches an ant egg or breaches the shell of an adjacent brood member will spur that ant to hatch as a fully formed adult.
