Sometimes an scribe becomes very interested with all kinds of flaming and explosive mixtures, completely abandoning the more respectable and profitable pursuits of medical knowledge. With all the deafening explosions and fire hazard that surrounds him, he is pushed to the outskirts of halfling settlements, barely eking out a living thanks to occasional entertainment gigs or the rare practical application of his dangerous art on the battlefield or in hard physical jobs.
