Ivesar Silver Guard

Despite the Commonwealth's fixation with magic, arguably the most successful campaign in Commonwealth history was fought strictly by its soldiers. A small detachment of glaivesmen held off an Orc force five times its number for over a month at Cyril's Pass. Since that day, the best glaivesmen become the Silver Guard in their honor. In a typically Commonwealth twist, however, they are also skilled in projecting magical attacks from their runic weapons.
