Ivesar Glaiveman

The action of glaivesmen has been compared to reapers mowing down a field of grain. They have the twin advantages of the sword's cutting power and the spear's length thanks to their unique weapons. In the hands of a Guardsmen, the glaive moves as if it were alive, dealing crushing blows right and left with startling speed. Unfortunately, glaives are not weighted for throwing, and so glaivesmen rely upon weaker short spears for ranged combat.
