Avian Tribe Combat Medic

Training on the job doesn't get much more dangerous than in the middle of a warzone, and these doctors took up arms to better protect themselves and their patients from the hordes of xenophobic or murderous creatures out to get them. Though equipment is scarce, the occasional knife from a fallen enemy or comrade frequently does the job in the hands of a skilled surgeon with a lot more reliability than most combatants, though they lack the raw punch of many soldiers. Many avians would be willing to stand between the healers and the enemy while they operate, but the Combat Medics often fight beside their brethren rather than behind them.
