Royal Exemplar

Consummate masters of swordcraft, titans on the battlefield, and fearless defenders of the weak, the Exemplars of Wesnoth are celebrated heroes. They are both seasoned tacticians and front-line warriors whose dual blades rarely leave an encounter without tasting blood. Their strong sense independence and devotion to the sword make them poor choices for royal service, rather, they remain right where they are most comfortable: on the line of battle facing down the enemies of Wesnoth.
