Core unit of the southern orcs is not so different from grunts. This medium infantry can fight, survive long enough to get a proper healing and fight another day. Their skill with swords is very good and nobody with to fight them one on one.

Tactical information: Faster and stronger version of the classic grunt. More (but weaker) attacks than normal grunt. Capable of fighting during the day.
