More experienced Dwarvish fighters wear heavy chain mail and plate armor, for which they are rightly famous. In the dark dreams of dwarvenkind, some conceal their faces behind riveted masks.

Most Kal-Karthan soldiers undergo slightly different training compared to their counterparts from Knalga, which is more focused on coordination with undead and tunnel fighting than on battlefield versatility, and involves a variety of dark rituals. As such their line infantry fights well in the dark, but is less effective during the day.
