Treeman

The leather plates of the old Spearman armour have been removed in combat and replaced with anything that can be easily found, most often treebark. Strapped to what is left of the garment, on the chest and shoulders, this outfitting has earned the warrior the imaginative monica 'treeman' within the farheidt camp.

As armour, treebark is surprisingly good against direct strikes to the chest, especially from arrows - it's light,too - but burns easily and looks ridiculous.

Owing to their group's notoriety in combat, the camp followers have rustled up a hunk of iron or a suitably weighted stone to improve the treemen's weapons. The extra weight makes this warrior one of the most formiddable in Farheidt's motley army.
