Sylver Willow

Most information about the wose culture, civilization, and warfare has come through communion between elvish and wose shamans. In both races, the role of shaman appeals to the most reflective, magically attuned members. This propensity to think deeply about one's nature has led to an understanding of how woses gain their appearance. By nature they are shapeshifters, who change from age to age in the trees they resemble.

The shaman takes a very distinct appearance as a weeping willow, because, it is claimed, 'reflective creatures of all races tend to perform their best musing under such boughs.' This allows the shaman to study, and if he so chooses, to commune with the various races who take shelter under his branches.

The first sylver shaman came not through the summoning of a silver mage, but rather through a student of silver magic, who chose one day to study under the branches of a 'willow tree'. While woses of any kind may use silver magic when it is imbued in their being, sylver shamans claim to actually understand the art, both in its human and wose variations.
