Mounted Bondholder

Few bondholders achieve glory in battle. Those that do become folk heroes, talismans of clan prowess who are plied with gifts of the finest horses and steel. A veteran bondholder, mounted and charging into battle, is a terrifying sight to behold.

They can be equally powerful at home, and more than one bondholder's heroic deeds have been the precursor to turmoil and strife within the clan. A chief may try to buy them off or raise their family's status. But a struggle for the chieftaincy is common.
