Scout Chopper

Aerial supremacy can never hold ground, but it does make it easier. Even prior to the outbreak, both Pax's civilian and militaristic branches had near monopoly over air transit. A second advantage became apparent after the outbreak: Being in the air keeps one far from the dripping mouths of the infected. The newly reorganized Pax Militarium were quick to deploy every helicopter still operational to serve as forward scouts and fire support.

Although their light frame precludes carrying much armor, preventing strength against significant physical weaponry, their airborne nature provides some defense against external sources of fire, which is difficult to sustain at a distance and buffeted by the blades.
