One of the most common and tough varieties of the Beta Strain Infected is the Corpus Crawler. The mutagen changes the structure of each cell into uniform base and then lumps the bodies together in a gellationous mass. The result is an organism with a structure simular to seaweed. this uniformity has no rigidity, and the crawler can change its shape simular to an ameoba. This flexibility gives the Corpus an extreme resistence to physical force, but weakened defenses against heat and cold.
