The Japanese A6M Zero has no armour and light armament, yet it maintained a 12 to 1 KD against early fighters. The A6M is only untouchable in combat if it avoids being the defender and late war (T2) fighters. The AI does not know how to set up a spotter before air attacking for double damage, and are given 15% extra damage and half cost to make up for lost double damage opportunities and generally leaving planes inside enemy territory at end of turn for easy counterattack..


Special Notes:This unit’s skill at skirmishing allows it to ignore enemies’ zones of control and thus move unhindered around them.If there is an enemy of the target on the opposite side of the target while attacking it, this unit may backstab, inflicting double damage by creeping around behind that enemy.The swarming attacks of this unit become less deadly whenever its members are wounded.This unit’s marksmanship gives it a high chance of hitting targeted enemies, but only on the attack.
