Dwarvish Thunderstormer

It is a rare occurrence that dwarves obtain inventions from outside, rather than the outside stealing those from them. It did however happen that they found something. Batch a few thundersticks into a more complex, yet working weapon and left behind stuck in a narrow passage where it was found by dwarven miners and passed onto their engineers.
Not many achieve the honor of operating this bizarre invention, thus hurling not a single, but a whole storm of chained thunders. Those few cling to their duty with fanatical pride, rather ready to die than let an enemy get even near their prized possession.
