Short-Faced Bear

The short-faced bear was the prominent predator of the prehistoric wilderness. Its reign of terror began to end once human hunters started dwindling their numbers. Eventually, almost all short-faced bears were hunted to extinction. However, some of these prehistoric beasts hid in caves to escape their demise, and their ancestors have survived in that same environment up until the present day. (Art by z5x1)
