Carpet Rider

Magical carpets are a curious occurrence. Over time alchemists and sages have developed ways to make carpets come alive, although the underlying mechanism is always a heated topic for debate. Some believe it is a concoction of substances that brings life into the carpets, whereas others believe it is due to the power of a Great Genie. Regardless, men with the knowledge swinging fire pots on a chain climb aboard these magic carpets, creating a potent combination of movement and fire. For some reason unknown these magic carpets do not work as well over deep bodies of water.

Carpet Riders must be careful to attack from a distance or as they are flying because their carpet, although magical, is still a carpet after all and prone to catching on fire itself. Fear of crashes or falls has led Carpet Riders to stuff a large amount of padding under their clothes.
